Angie, Becki, Laura & myself attended the Yorkshire Digital Technology Awards last night which was hosted at the Royal Armouries, Leeds.

Following a glass of wine, canapés & networking in the bar we were entertained by a Q&A with Julian Kynaston, founder of Propaganda and Illamasqua, which was launched in 2008.

We found it interesting that apparently Lady Gaga is paid $8m to be the face of MAC, however she flies in  Illamasqua as her favoured make up brand! Apparently Courtney Love is also an avid Illamasqua fan too.

Anyway, on to the Awards…

Congratulations to Epiphany who won Yorkshire Digital Agency of the Year (also highly commended 9xb, MadeByPi & Numiko), Bloom for Best use of SEO and Umpf for Consumer App of the Year.

You can see all the winners results here

Congratulations to everyone and it’s always great to see the talent within our region.

We left the awards to then enjoy an Aagrah curry! Maybe that was the highlight for us?!
