With Russia and Andrey Arshavin beating England, Prince William and David Beckham in the bid to become world cup 2018 hosts (mind boggling…we know!) Russia have now, shortly after Brazils successful hosting of the tournament, released their Official Russia World Cup 2018 logo… much to the amusement of football fans across the world as the logo has gone viral, not for what it represents, but for the comparisons fans of the game are making with it.

Russia projected the logo on the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow before seeing it soon spread across the web via the biggest news source of them all, Twitter.
