Leeds Beckett Creative Technology students showed off their project work last night to fellow students, tutors, families and creative industry peers.
The Creative Technologies course includes Computer Animation and Visual Effects, Games Design, Creative Media Technology, Photographic Journalism and Broadcast Media Technologies. And with a real dearth of new talent coming in to the digital industries there were even a few potential employers there from the likes of Twentysix and Perform Group.
The evening kicked off with an inspiring talk from Mark Robinson, a creative director at Shiver which is an ITV production company. ITV are always on the hunt for new talent and offer some fantastic opportunities for placements and traineeships, providing an insight into the world of TV and journalism.
We thought the standard of work was really high and it was great to meet some of the upcoming talent of the future.
You may have already seen some work created by Capture 27 which is currently displayed in Trinity Leeds and at The White Cloth Gallery.
As the leading digital creative recruitment agency in the North we wish all the students a successful start to their career and will no doubt be a part of helping them with their future career progression.
