The Book is celebrating 9 years of business ...and although I don't know where the last 9 years have gone I'm proud to say I've been here since day 1 in January 2004.   We thought it would be fun to reflect on some of the news and events which have taken place over the last 9 years...

2004 - The very last episode of Friends was aired - check out the final scenes! Final Episode

2005 - Charles and Camilla married. Hurracaine Katrina hits New Orleans.

2006 - People magazine paid more than $4.1m for the right of publishing the photo of Brangelina's baby Shiloh on their cover


2007 - Madeleine McCann went missing in Portugal. Prince William officially opened the new Wembley Stadium


2008 - Obama was elected as the first black President of USA. Bill Gates retired from Microsoft.

2009 - The Bank of England cut it's interest rates to 0.5%, the lowest in the bank's 300 year history

2010 - Spain defeated the Netherlands to win the FIFA World Cup

2011 - Prince William married Kate Middleton. Apple CEO Steve Jobs passed away.

2012 - We celebrated the Queens Jubilee with an additional bank holiday. The GB team have a wonderful London 2012 Olympics and The European pull off the Miracle in Medinah, oh and there's Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour de France!

Let's look forward to another 9 years!!
